Well, we finally arrived in Kiev about 11:00 pm last night. Stayed in a very nice apartment that had hot water and air conditioning! Heaven! And a bed - sleep at last!
Off to the SDA this morning. We saw our new friend from the plane there (she was the appointment before ours) and she received a favorable report for her adoption. Then it was our turn and they approved the first step! So we are going to stay the night here tonight again and then we will travel to Kharkov tomorrow morning to meet with the orphanage director and hopefully see the girls.
We learned that Vika's full name is Victoria and Tonya is Antonina. Very pretty! We are excited to go tomorrow and spend some time with them.
Spent the remainder of the day getting our fingerprints done, changing money, etc.

ReplyDeleteWe are the other couple that you met on the plane. My husband talked to you mostly. Rhonda is just around the corner from us. I called your facilitator and gave him our cell. He said he would give it to you Wednesday morning. We're glad everything went well!
