We were so exhausted and disappointed last night that we could hardly function. However, we are feeling much better today (sleep helps. I have decided that it's just not a good idea to make decisions after 5:00 in the afternoon, as I'm pretty much fried by then!) We spoke to Vika again this morning and she said YES! So we are very excited about that!! Also, I remembered another girl my friend Laurie met when she was here before that she really bonded with, so we are visiting with her a little bit and so far it looks promising. She is very sweet and seems willing to come. So for now we are going to stay at the camp and file a new petition to adopt Vika and possibly this other girl. We will have to wait for official permission to move forward with her, probably next week, but in the meantime we can spend time with Vika and get to know her some more.

We will definitely not be in town tomorrow, so don't' be concerned. But definitely keep praying that things progress swiftly and for wisdom for us!
