Just wanted to give a quick update. Edward emailed and said he spoke to the “chief” of the Vital Records in Russia and she said it would not be a problem for us to get Irra’s birth certificate! We’re cautiously optimistic, hopefully she will say the same thing when we arrive!
Still waiting on a court date. We had to re-do some paperwork and send it over with an AWESOME family who is adopting their 12th child. They have adopted 6 from Eastern Europe. If you get a chance, check out their blog, www.smilingallthewayhome.blogspot.com. I have seen some of their YouTube stuff, and it was fun to actually speak to Christine. Their appointment at the SDA is Monday, so keep them in your prayers for that!

Also, please keep us in your prayers. We did not expect to have to come home, and it was definitely not in the budget! I figure this little detour will cost us around $4,000 before we’re done, and we have no earthly idea where that’s coming from. Good thing my Daddy owns the whole earth!
We’ll keep you posted on our court date and travel plans as soon as we know!
